Our FREE technical support service is intended to cover general troubleshooting to isolate problems and routine product maintenance to resolve issues which may require the release of a software update or a published workaround. We're always ready to provide simple examples and sample code, but this service is not intended to provide you with free consulting, assistance with Flash/ActionScript programming or general development support. The response time to FREE technical support inquiries is usually very fast, but not guaranteed.

Before Contacting Technical Support
SWF Studio is a mature product with a large customer base and a long history, so there's a very good chance that your question has already been asked and answered. Here are some things you can try (before contacting us) that may save you some time.
Your first stop should be the list of Known Problems to see if your problem has been reported or if it's already fixed. Please make sure that you're using the latest version of SWF Studio before reporting a problem.
We have an active, knowledgeable and growing user community in our online Support Forums. The support forums are (accidentally) one of the best kept secrets at Northcode. The forums are monitored by Northcode employees and are a great source of tips, tricks and solutions to even the most complex questions. Going strong since 2001 there are years worth of useful tips and solutions for SWF Studio and Flash. It's a resource you can't afford to miss.

We have a large collection of Examples that come with commented source for you to use and learn from.
We prefer that everyone use the online support forums when making FREE support requests so that everyone benefits when we answer a question but you can send technical questions to Support if you want to send confidential information not suitable for the forums.

Registration Codes Lost or Not Working?
If you've lost your registration codes or they've suddenly stopped working you can retrieve them using the Registration Lookup system. If the system is unavailable, or you're having problems using it, you can call us at +1 (613) 789-0101 ext 2 between 9am and 5pm EST.
