I remember coming across this in a forum before, but can't find the answer now that I need it.

In SWF Studio how do you check if there is an application associated with a .mpg file. What is the command?

I've looked through your "Help" page several times and can't find the way to do this... am I missing it?

You're looking for SYSINFO.QUERYOPEN (part of the SysInfo plugin). Here's a link to an example that shows how to determine whether the PDF extension is registered. Just change the extension to MPG or MPEG and it works exactly the same.
